This hotel in Ruse exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city center, close to everything you could possibly need. We were delighted to find that our room had a huge balcony, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. And the breakfast spread was simply delightful, with options for all tastes in elegant surroundings. A truly wonderful experience!
Nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect.

Very good location, and a very pleasant hotel.
Although all is fine, the bathroom has one little disadvantage. If you take a shower, the whole bathroom is wet.

It was a beatiful, small hotel within walking distance to the main city square. It has a beautiful breakfast in the morning with an accomodating staff that is so helpful in getting whatever you need. The food is great and the service is amazing. They gave us complimentary bottles of wine upon check out which was so sweet and the woman behind the counter was the nicest person and wished us back again and it sincerely made me want to return.

Fantastic surprise at City Art Hotel. The friendly staff and artistic decorations were impressive. The room was comfortable with a choice of pillows. Free internet access, and a delicious Chinese restaurant downstairs with a 10% discount for guests. Complimentary bottle of wine upon departure. Just be careful with Google Maps! highly recommend this charming hotel.

We used the hotel as a stop off point for a trip to Romania. Although the descriptin of the town was a bit negative we were really pleased with both the town centre and the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance (200m) of the pedestrian area. The hotel is colurfully decorated and pleasing on the eye. The staff are very helpful especially if you have limited Bulgarian.
The rooms are a tad compact but as this is city centre then a small price to pay.

Traditional building but very beautiful inside.
Breakfast could be better. No curtain in shower facilities.

During Christmas holidays, I had a great experience staying at a boutique hotel in the center of a Bulgarian city. The hotel had a charming decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the free internet access and the comfortable rooms with a choice of pillow types. The hotel's location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk away from the main square and the Danube River. I also enjoyed the local restaurant with delicious food served at a discounted price to hotel guests.
There were a few downsides to my stay, such as the confusing signage in the area that made it difficult to find the hotel. the breakfast was not very impressive, and there was a lack of towel hangers in the bathroom.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the location was perfect - nestled in a quiet area, yet close to everything. We especially loved the fact that it was situated on the Danube, offering breathtaking views. Secondly, the staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely balcony that allowed us to enjoy the fresh air. All in all, this hotel provided great value for money.
No improvements needed - everything was perfect.

Good location, nice rooms, free internet, value for money. Simple breakfast in a villa opposite the hotel with very pleasant garden.
Spotlights at the outside of the hotel stay for the whole night.

The rooms are very nice, very comfortable (it would be easy classified as a 4* hotel if the bathroom was a bit larger), the staff spoke a very good english and was very helpfull.
The Michelin guide to the location is outdated. From our border is not "950 m and turn left to ulitza April ....". But is not the hotel fault.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
